Falsity

About

Falsity is the condition or attribute of being false, i.e. of being in contradiction to the truth. It applies to an assertion of fact; any given assertion may contain one or more factual matters, each of which may be true or false without regard to the verity or falsity of the others. If a given assertion contains at least one falsity, however, the assertion as a whole may be said to be false.
