A quick and not especially meaningful look at a selected few statistics regarding incidents at abortion clinics. This was mainly created in order to address the question of whether abortion clinic violence and intimidation has declined recently.

Corrections

Where gd is the data as graphed and sd is the source data:

• "1985" is the average for the years 1977-1992, which are added together in the original data; gd = sd/16
• "2008" has been corrected to estimate for the missing 2 months: gd = sd*12/10
• All data have been normalized, i.e. divided by the highest figure in each type of incident; a more meaningful analysis would assign some kind of "severity" weight to each type of incident and multiply by that, and include a graph showing the weighted total for each year.
