We Are Going To Hit Iran. Bigtime was the title of a DailyKos diary entry posted by user Maccabee on 2007-09-01. It was apparently removed no later than 2007-09-03 (see [1]), for reasons unknown.
The article details an email from "a friend who is an LSO on a carrier attack group that is planning and staging a strike group deployment into the Gulf of Hormuz. (LSO: Landing Signal Officer- she directs carrier aircraft while landing)", naming multiple items of evidence that the US is well into preparations for invading Iran, with or without authorization from its Congress or its people.
At this point, it is not known whether there is any truth to the details reported, but the general flavor seems consistent with other reports.
