About

INAFJ.org is a "youth-oriented" web site intended to draw attention to the high rate of unemployment and underemployment in the United States. "INAFJ" is an acronym which stands for "I Need A Freakin' Job".

The site was founded by Jeff Baker of Buffalo, NY and his brother Scott, who began work on the site in late 2009 or early 2010 after Jeff's business folded and he was forced to take freelance jobs to make ends meet.[WKBW] The domain "inafj.org" was registered on March 23, 2010.

Although Jeff Baker has stated that part of the site's mission is to "give unemployed and under-employed a voice"[WKBW], the site does not provide any interactive features where visitors might express themselves.

Jeff Baker is reportedly also "the man behind" a billboard advertisement in Buffalo that is tied in with the web site. It is unclear how they managed to finance the billboard on Jeff's freelancer's wages.
