Donohue and the Catholic League are effectively false advocates for Catholicism, inciting Catholics to extreme interpretations of Catholic doctrine and delusions of persecution while inflammatorily attempting to impose those interpretations on non-Catholics.
It is possible that they also do some beneficial work, but if so we have not yet been made aware of what it is.
