Overview

Controlled demolition is a technique for removing very tall structures while minimizing damage to surrounding structures. It is also referred to as implosion, controlled implosion, or building implosion.

This is a growing seedling article. You can help Issuepedia by watering it.

Usage

  • Wikipedia calls this "building implosion"; perhaps that is a better name?
  • Or how about "explosive demolition", to refer specifically to the use of explosives in demolition? (I'm liking that one better --W.)
