Overview
Controlled demolition is a technique for removing very tall structures while minimizing damage to surrounding structures. It is also referred to as implosion, controlled implosion, or building implosion.
Usage
- Wikipedia calls this "building implosion"; perhaps that is a better name?
- Or how about "explosive demolition", to refer specifically to the use of explosives in demolition? (I'm liking that one better --W.)
