James Damore rose to infamy after posting a highly counterfactual and misogynistic internal memo entitled "Google's Ideological Echo Chamber" while employed at Google. He was then fired, which made him a hero of the "alt-right" closet Nazi faction, on the theory that his freeze peach had been damaged.
