Overview

A procreation-maximizing policy is any policy which leads to an overall increase in procreation among the governed, especially if it does so even in circumstances where procreation is not wanted.

Many religious moral systems appear to be aiming at this goal, although it is rarely stated as the reason behind the particular rules which encourage it.
