Overview
Young Earth theory refers to any theory which supposes that the Earth is significantly younger than the evidence would seem to indicate.
"Young Earth" is one of several ovelapping classes of counter-scientific theories; most or all young Earth theories are also direct creation theories, including creationism and intelligent design.
