US presidents: George W. Bush: administration: secrecy
[edit] Overview
In sharp contrast to the administration of his predecessor, the presidential administration of George W. Bush has been one of the most secretive ever – with recently-unclassified reports being hastily reclassified, scientific reports suppressed, and investigations hobbled or completely compromised (e.g. the 9/11 Commission Report).

The Post reveals that he has a "man-sized" safe in his office to keep the ordinary working papers out of reach of the National Archives and Records as provided by federal law.
