==About==
[[Elaine O'Neal]] is a candidate for Mayor of [[US/NC/Durham|Durham, NC]] in the [[Election/2021/US/NC/Durham/10/mayor|2021 primary election]]. A Durham native, O'Neal served as the first female Chief District Court and Superior Court judge in Durham, was the first alum to lead the NCCU Law School, and is chair of the [[Durham Racial Equity Task Force]].
