restated mission comments
E.J. said: "WikiCitizens ... would serve as a forum for providing individuals with (1) a neutral account of various political issues and (2) a database of the various actions that people are engaging in to either oppose or support them." This sounds like a pretty good statement of Issuepedia's mission – at least #1, though #2 is certainly within the scope of that mission. Are there any particulars in which Issuepedia, as it currently stands, does not meet the needs of your Wikicitizens proposal? --Woozle 08:14, 12 June 2006 (EDT)
It would definitely be nice if something already standing could subsume wikicitizens. What would you say is the mission statement of issuepedia? Why did you originally set it up and where do you see it going? --E.J. 00:41, 14 June 2006 (EDT)
(Sorry for taking so long to respond; really really busy.) Issuepedia:About includes a mission statement. See also the new Jimbo Wales project, Campaigns Wikia.
