Higher education in the United States consists of colleges, universities, and technical schools. Of the colleges and universities, some are /public, i.e. having government support to make the tuition more affordable, while others are /private.
Nearly all colleges and universities in the US have been raising their tuition /prices at rates far above that of inflation.
