Jon Haidt was a speaker at the Beyond Belief: Enlightenment 2.0 conference in 2007.

Theories

Haidt and others have proposed that there are 5 "innate psychological systems form the foundation of intuitive ethics" across all human cultures, and that one's political affiliation (conservative vs. liberal) is largely determined by how one ranks these systems.
