Overview
Controlled demolition is a technique for removing very tall structures while minimizing damage to surrounding structures. It is also referred to as implosion, controlled implosion, or building implosion.
Usage
Although Wikipedia uses the term "demolition" to refer solely to controlled demolition, Issuepedia prefers to keep the term "demolition" to mean any deliberate and complete destruction of a building, of which "controlled demolition" is a subset in which care is taken to minimize damage to other structures.
