#LunchWithAConservative interlude: email

"I guess I am less scared of Christians than the fanatics of the left who think that all cultures are equally good and there is no such thing as 'abnormal'."

My first reaction was to say that I agree with the statement "all cultures are equally good and there is no such thing as 'abnormal'." -- but on further reflection, I'm not even sure what it means. Can a culture be said to be "good" or "bad", even?
