About

Good faith refers to the practice of being open and honest when dealing with someone else, regardless of whether doing so will make the outcome less favorable to the practitioner. This can apply to discussions around proposed business transactions as well as those around group decisionmaking (e.g. public or organizational policy).

It is the opposite of bad faith.
