I had considered implementing that, as it looked like a useful extension, but hadn't gotten around to it (and there were several other useful-looking extensions to explore as well). Ref tags

I notice that the ref tags haven't been implemented at this stage. Can this be done, or is there an alternative, preferred format?

The wiki markup I wanted to use (on Root causes of terrorism) was:
