categories that have been deprecated and should eventually be removed
One common reason for this is that we switched from using plural category names to singular category names after a number of categories were quite heavily populated, and there is as yet no easy way to "move" pages from one category to another. Possibly a redirect from the deprecated category would work, but experimentation is needed.
