Help:Seed Guide

A seed (also known as a stub) is a very short article, generally of one paragraph or less, or possibly consisting solely of links to other articles or external web sites – often consisting of just one or two bits of information around which an article will gradually mature, with proper care and nurturing.

Many articles on Issuepedia begin life as directories, lists of links, or quick notes on a given topic. You can help them grow into proper articles by contacting us and drawing attention to specific pages that need attention, or by making a donation so we can set aside more research and writing time!

As of August 2020, all writing and editing is done by Woozle, who also pays for hosting out-of-pocket (while serving as sysop) for this and our sister sites (see sidebar).

Obsolete

We used to also have a seedling stage for articles, but this proved not to be a useful classification.
