Grievances against Ryan A.

Part 1

Here are a few comments -

1. "You supposedly have a PhD. I don't believe you cannot figure out why removing the result from the title makes the title incomplete. You've written papers. Presumably those papers have titles. You understand how titles work."
2. "BTW, Camille has started deleting my comments. This is how they will get us silenced if all else fails."
3. "I also thought he didn't read your post where you spoon-fed him the relevant info. But I think Mike is arguing that people are performing these background checks voluntarily despite no requirement. The very idea that he's ok with voluntary background checks for buying weapons with no oversight to make sure it happens or is thorough is laughable if it weren't such a dangerous idea."
4. "It sounds like Mike is familiar with buying guns which means he knows this loophole is a big one and he knows it is used by people"
5. "Don't let Mike deceive you."
6. "Your impulse to hide or ignore any wrongdoing that might cast a poor light on the right is staggering. Are you aware of what you are doing? Or is hyperpartisanship baked so deeply into your bones that this is a natural as breathing for you?"
7. "Notice Joanne Beckman's comment that she ignores two requests that she elaborate on her point and instead addresses an unrelated issue."
8. "Rosie contributes almost no comments on the subject of politics. On the rare occasion that she does, that information is wrong or in this case so misleading that it suggests the opposite of the truth. That "struggle to be polite" is a struggle she often loses. Her replies are often sarcastic to the point of her spelling out "sarcasm" or mockingly flirtatious which is even more unsettling."
9. "Kenneth, we spoke about overposting and trying to limit posts to no more than one post per day. You have posted 5 posts in the past 24 hours. Pump the breaks buddy."

Do I need to provide you more? I am not confused about where the criticism is pointing - those comments are not and should not be a part of normal conversation.

I am sorry you feel my moderation is ineffective and that you feel it is censorship. You are entitled to your opinion and that is what it is, your opinion.

Your accusation of me deleting that post is wrong and it speaks to your character that you would say you will trust what I said and then come back and call me a liar.

Have good evening.

Part 2

Per ND - Be respectful to your neighbors. Under this heading includes

A) Be mindful of how you participate. Ask yourself before you engage if your words will effect change, understanding, and empathy in your community.
B) Respectfully challenge the idea, not the person. Focus on the facts or ideas you want to communicate, without attacking the person.
C) Don’t make assumptions. When you’re unsure about something someone has said, ask for clarification and be willing to listen to the response.
D) Avoid generalizing or over-simplifying. Being too general may overshadow the heart of the matter and appear insensitive.
E) Acknowledge common ground. Even if you don’t wholeheartedly agree with someone, if you can appreciate something they’ve said or done, let them know.
1) Attacking, berating, bullying, insulting, harassing, threatening, trolling, or swearing at others or their views even if you really disagree with them. This includes communication within a group or via private message.
2) Posting about your concerns with community moderation in the main news feed.
