Overview
Roy W. Spencer "is a principal research scientist for the University of Alabama in Huntsville". He is one of the few global warming skeptics taken seriously in mainstream scientific circles. He is also an advocate of intelligent design.
Global Warming
Asked in December 2008 what his advice was for then-President-Elect Barack Obama, Spencer responded, "He should put off the environmentalists indefinitely. ... Tell them we have to fix the economy first before we can afford unaffordable renewable energy 'solutions.'" -SourceWatch
In other words, he's against taking steps which should be a priority even if GW turns out to be overrated. FAIL. --Woozle 20:39, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Conveniently, he recently did just that on his blog, listing what he considers the "Top Ten Good Skeptical Arguments," throwing in an 11th for good measure. He also conveniently posed each of these arguments as questions; it turns out they're all easy to answer."
