He obsessed over parking spaces and always appeared angry. He used to watch a movie about a man who goes on a shooting rampage over and over again. His ex-wife said he found the film hilarious."

About

Three American Muslims were shot dead at 5:11 PM on February 10, 2015 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The victims were:[1]

  • Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, of Chapel Hill
  • Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, of Chapel Hill – Deah's wife
  • Razan Abu-Salha, 19, of Raleigh – Yusor's sister

Deah apparently worked as a volunteer in Durham distributing supplies to the homeless.[2]

Craig Stephen Hicks has been arrested and charged with the three murders. Hicks had reportedly posted anti-religious statements and images on his Facebook account.[3][4]

There has been, naturally, some backlash against atheists.[5]
