Topic page casing

Re: "Gish Gallop" vs. "Gish gallop", I've noticed that Wikipedia follows the convention of upper-casing the first word of a page link, but not subsequent words, unless the name refers to a proper name. See wikipedia:George_Washington (both uppercased) but wikipedia:Environmental_economics (latter word lower-cased). Which prompted my casing.

Though RationalWiki in fact has rationalwiki:Gish_Gallop as both uppercased. Go figure.

"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds..."

... oh, and yeah, RationalWiki isn't in the Issuepedia:Interwiki list (wherever that might be), and I'm not sure how to get it there.

  1. I'm caught between (a) only capitalizing words which refer to a proper noun (person, place) and (b) using Title Caps on things which have become Things. Gish Gallop falls into a grey area. We should probably look for more grey-area examples in order to better set a policy. Maybe a category with which to tag examples would be useful -- something like category:unresolved/caps
  2. rational:Main Page -- I added RW to the interwiki early on, when I was going for short over memorable. The full interwiki list is here. I need to add a note to the wiki page about each site for which Issuepedia has an interwiki prefix... and there's also {{l/rw|page title}} (e.g. Gish Gallop).
