Non-employment income is any kind of income that is received regardless of employment -- i.e. anything except a wage or (conversely) unemployment benefits.

It can include any of the following:

  • guaranteed income, if the guarantee is not contingent on (un)employment
  • profit dividends
  • bank interest
  • trust fund disbursements
