actual persecution of Christian values

About

In capitalist MidNorAmerica (aka the US), anyone who expresses values in alignment with Christianity's spiritual founder (Jesus Christ) tends to be described with various negative labels such as anti-freedom or anti-American, as well as terms like "communist" and "socialist" which many people (especially those who see "American" as an inherently positive trait) have been trained to falsely associate with negative ideas such as totalitarianism (as in the Soviet Union).

This persecution is often carried out by organizations claiming to be Christian (i.e. followers of the values espoused by the character Christ in the primary Christian scriptural work, the Bible).
