About

Citing a number of transparently silly excuses in justification, the McMinn County School board in Tennessee voted 10-0 to ban the use of Art Spiegelman's Pulitzer Prize-winning graphic novel Maus, a retelling of the Holocaust using animal characters to stand in for humans, from the school's eighth-grade curriculum.

This event was just one of a rash of recent book banning efforts by US conservoids.
