About

Monsanto is one of the largest producers of agricultural chemicals and genetically engineered foods. They were also one of the early manufacturers of plastics and the first company to mass produce light-emitting diodes.

There was a claim in 2010 that Blackwater had effectively become an arm of Monsanto, leading to at least one report that Blackwater had been sold to Monsanto, but there doesn't seem to be any confirmation of this.
