Source equivocation is a logical fallacy which presumes that different levels of evidence are equally valid, which they are not.
An example would be a discussion in which one person presents an argument based on several examples of peer-reviewed research, and another person counters by linking to a blog post by someone with no particular knowledge or expertise in the relevant domain.
It is the basis for opinion equivocation statements ("just your opinion", "entitled to an opinion").
