abortion in the United States
|
The Supreme Court legalized abortion nationally in 1973 with the Roe v. Wade decision, but then in 2022 (with a heavily authoritarian 6-3 majority) decided to revoke that decision. The political landscape around abortion rights has been changing very rapidly since then, with a handful of states proceeding to ban it altogether (as long predicted) while others move to protect it.
