About
Cliquism, sometimes called tribalism, is a mode of social organization which prioritizes loyalty to one's clique above all else. It often includes elements of discrimination or animosity towards those who do not conform to attributes with which the clique identifies (shibboleths).
In the sphere of online discussion, cliques most often organize around beliefs.
