To call what's going on in Minnesota historic is an understatement. General strikes are extraordinarily rare in US history; there have only been a handful of general strikes, with individual states and even this is extraordinarily rare. This is a major step towards a national general strike, which has never happened in 250 years of this country's history. There has never been one national general strike ever. And if it happened, there aren't enough military cops or even National Guard personnel to push back. This is an extraordinarily good sign. Like, this didn't happen in Nazi Germany - they didn't have a general strike. You need to be hopeful because I've never seen this. I've been involved in politics for nearly 15 years, and I've never seen anything like it, not even during Occupy Wall Street or what happened with George Floyd. THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED IN 80 YEARS. If you try to be a negative nancy about this, I'm just going to assume you're a fed.

Because by every [quantified] standard this is beyond huge and a gigantic step in establishing the revolutionary structure there is nothing that labor cannot accomplish for labor builds the world so labor owns the world and they can wield their power to crush the bourgeoisie at any moment.
