About

In general, arguments against the existence of God take one of the following forms:

  • arguments that the the default assumption, when an assertion cannot be disproven, rests on those who would argue that the assertion is nonetheless true
  • counterarguments to arguments for God's existence

"Default assumption" arguments include the Russell's teapot class of arguments (which also includes the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the Invisible Pink Unicorn, and so forth).

Pro-God counterarguments need to be collected... it's kind of like shooting fish in a barrel, but it needs to be done at some point. --Woozle 21:07, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
