- sexuality issues are often closely related to reproductive issues, presumably because of moral codes which have grown up around the need to regulate reproduction and control the spread of sexually-transmitted diseases
- The stem cell controversy is closely related to issues surrounding abortion, as most of the arguments against stem cell research seem to revolve around the necessity of aborting an embryo (whether viable or not) in order to harvest its stem cells – although some arguments seem to relate to the idea that such research could lead to human cloning, which the arguers apparently view as immoral.
