Overview
The President of the United States (often abbreviated "POTUS" or "PotUS") is nominally the head of the US government, although his actual powers are supposed to be limited by the US constitution, especially the constitutionally-mandated separation of powers.
During his time in office, president #43 George W. Bush made many strides towards increasing the power of the president.
