I activated my #Threads account to make a comment on a post by a G+ friend, someone I haven't talked to in years (found out via chat that she's on Threads) -- and my account is promptly suspended, probably because I said something true about right-wingers.
...and I can't appeal the suspension because for some reason they are "unable" to send a confirmation code to my mobile number (after already sending one to my email, which I successfully entered).
I could add an acerbic comment or two here, but it kind of seems redundant.
Unfortunately I don't even have a copy of what I said. I'm pretty sure it was politely-worded, even if firmly-stated. The comment was on this post, iirc.
