  • 2022-07-29 Why do Democrats call common sense laws like voter ID "racist"? Isn't that enough proof that the last election was fraudulent and they plan to cheat again?: The response given is anecdotal, but consistent with what more rigorous studies have shown. Funny how these same people never seem to worry about all the legitimate votes that aren't being counted, even if there was some actual voter fraud (which continues to be so rare that it never affects the outcome... as shown yet again by the AP article bwlow).
  • 2022-11-27 Oliver Willis on Twitter «one thing liberals dont get is that conservatives do not feel the need to actually explain the reasoning behind a line of attack. often i will post some right wing smear and earnest liberals ask "ok, but what do they mean by this? where's the evidence?" IT DOESN'T MATTER.» conservatism I think he misses the piece where they're also just convinced they're right because their idea of reality is based on received truth, rather than evidenced truth. The idea of questioning a received belief is anathema to them. Critical analysis is just another form of attack to them, no better than ad hominem.
