About

A Paulbot is a particular variety of supporter of Ron Paul's presidential candidacy. Generally not of a fanatical character, Paulbots are mainly noted for being devoid of any substantial feeling of compassion or empathy for anyone outside their ethnic group (typically white male), and oblivious to any arguments about how Paul's policies and platform will adversely affect such people.

This robot-like obliviousness, combined with the lack of fanaticism (and, in many but not all cases, lack of apparent emotion altogether), is the inspiration for the term ("[Ron] Paul" + "[ro]bot").

Paulbots first became a notable presence during the 2012 election.
